Setup guide

The three steps, in order

Each step only works once the one before it is done.

01

Sign in and configure your helpdesk

Where: Customer Helpdesk

  • •Sign in to your account, then open Customer Helpdesk in the left navigation.
  • •Work through the tabs in order: Brand & Domain, Knowledge, Consultation, Zoom.
  • •Knowledge is the one that matters most — add your documents or website URLs so the avatar has something to answer from.

A helpdesk belongs to the account that created it, so only that account sees its setup screens.

02

Publish the helpdesk, then the app

Where: Brand & Domain → Publish

  • •Turn on the Published switch inside the helpdesk, then publish the app from the editor.
  • •Your public page goes live at /helpdesk/your-slug on your published address.
  • •Open that link while signed out to check the branding, avatar and booking hours.
03

Turn on payments and email delivery

Where: Secrets + Domains

  • •Add your PayPal client ID, secret and environment on the Secrets page, or paid bookings will not start.
  • •Connect a custom email domain so client confirmations, reschedule links and reminders actually land.
  • •Zoom needs Server-to-Server OAuth credentials from a Zoom Marketplace app — a normal Zoom login is not enough.

Until these are in place the desk still answers questions for free; only paid bookings depend on them.
